Mr. Montgomery has had significant experience in land use litigation and development and with appellate, regulatory, administrative and election law issues. He has significant experience in representing clients in jury and non-jury trials in federal and state courts as well as before state and county agencies, municipal governing bodies, and zoning hearing boards.  His practice has included a wide variety of both private and public clients, including natural gas and coal developers, landfill companies, real estate developers and municipal authorities, as well as private individuals. His practice has covered a variety of matters, with particular emphasis on land-use related issues such as zoning, real estate and land development as well as commercial litigation such as breach of contract, bankruptcy, and violations of the Uniform Commercial Code. David has also served as a faculty member for numerous seminars and is frequently a course planner for real estate and litigation law forums. He is also active in the community, serving as a youth sports coach and performing volunteer and charitable work.
